Chef is the food class. You start with three extra Cooked Meat, and hunger falls 30% slower. That buffer is most useful before a campfire and a cook setup are in place. It does not add a weapon or a crafting discount.

How do you use Chef?
Equip Chef when runs end to hunger before combat does. The extra meat is finite. The slower hunger is the part that lasts through the early days. Vampire cannot use this food plan, because Vampire eats only meat and is a different class.
