What is Explorer?
Explorer is the free starting class. The wooden sword, pickaxe, and axe cover the first fight and the first gathering. It does not change hunger, healing, move speed, dodge, or crafting level.

How do you get Explorer?
Select it in the lobby Classes shop. It costs nothing. Equip it before you start a run.
How do you use Explorer?
Use Explorer on the first runs and any time you are testing a route without spending Gems. Replace it after you know whether hunger, damage, wood, or nights are the usual failure.
