What is Quarry chunk?
A legendary quarry chunk appeared as a craft result in public play. The player could not say what the legendary tag changed, then later credited that quarry with supplying materials by rarity. Quarry chests are a separate search. Players looking for bones in those chests reported finding none.

How do you get Quarry chunk?
Craft a chunk that rolls legendary quarry. The inputs for that roll, besides the early game's wood and leaves, were not fully read out. Rarer crafts appeared after rusty nails were picked up, which is a sequence and not a printed cost.
How do you use Quarry chunk?
Place it when it rolls and mine what it actually contains. If you need bones for Grounder, do not camp the quarry chests as if they were guaranteed.
